Culinary Arts Level 6 provides advanced professional skills in food production, menu development, culinary techniques, baking and pastry, kitchen management, food safety, quality control, and cost management. Trainees develop the ability to lead kitchen operations and maintain high standards of food production and service.
Career Opportunities: Graduates can work as Sous Chefs, Head Chefs, Executive Chefs, Kitchen Managers, Food Production Managers, Catering Managers, or establish their own restaurants, catering, bakery, or food production businesses.
Entry requirements
Level 6 - Diploma
Any one of:
KCSE mean grade C- (minus)
completion of a related KNQF level 5 course
an equivalent qualification as determined by KNQF.
